Andrew NajbergAndrew Najberg is a Tennessee author, teacher, husband, and father who wrote The Mobius Door (Wicked House Publishing, 2023), Gollitok (Wicked House Publishing, 2023), The Neverborn Thief (Olive-Ridley Press, 2024), In Those Fading Stars (Crystal Lake Entertainment, 2024), Try Not to Die in the Shadowlands (Vincere Press, 2024), Extinction Dream (Wicked House Publishing), Paradise Falls (Wicked House Publishing, 2026), and Dead Hearts Eat the Light (Wicked House Publishing, 2026). He is also the author of the collections of poems The Goats Have Taken Over the Barracks (Finishing Line Press, 2021) and Fighting Fermi (Walnut Street Press, 2024). His board game The Bad Side of Town which he codesigned with Jon Cohn is due out late 2025/early 2026 through Beyond Killer Games. Andrew is completing a new manuscript called The Graveyard Well and beginning work on a new project.

His works of short fiction have appeared in dozens of magazines in print and online, including Khoreo, Fusion Fragment, Utopia Science Fiction, Dreadpop, Translunar Traveler’s Lounge, Psychopomp, and The Colored Lens, and they are forthcoming in several upcoming anthologies and journals, including Fantasy and Science Fiction Magazine. His individual poems have appeared in more than fifty publications.

Currently, he teaches for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he has been a full-time member of the English department for nineteen years and has just joined the honor department. He teaches creative writing, rhetoric and composition, and Japanese literature, and he serves as the director of programming for the honors residential students. In his spare time, he loves to read, draw, play board games and video games with his kids, and watch horror and science fiction movies. When he can, he tends his vegetable garden as best he can and dreams of travelling abroad with his family.
